The Motley Hotel Richmond Terms & Conditions

Bridge Road Hotel Operations Pty Ltd ATF Bridge Road Hotel Operations Unit Trust (“The Company”), ABN 42 184 849 552. Trading as The Motley Hotel Richmond, Melbourne.

All reservations made at The Motely Hotel, Richmond are subject to the Terms and Conditions as specified by the booking Any person(s) making the reservations will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons staying at The Motley Hotel Richmond.

Photographic Identification

Photographic Identification must be provided upon check-in.

If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled and you will be required to pay the full amount of the reservations.

Guarantee

Credit card details will be required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation.

Payment

A valid credit card must be presented upon check-in to the hotel. The name on the card must match the Photo ID when checking in.

Payment on check-in will be required for all bookings unless prepaid or authorised alternative arrangements have been made. At time of check-in, your nominated credit card will be recorded and a pre-authorisation of AUD$100.00 per stay will be charged to cover incidental items including but not limited to telephone calls, food and beverage, breakages / damages, cleaning charges. Should the room be left in an unacceptable state, cleaning charges may apply.

We do not accept cheques. Cash payments can be made however a valid credit card must be presented and recorded.

Interim payment of accounts may be required during the stay period and will be presented at the discretion of management. In the event this is presented you agree to make interim payment of accounts. You agree that any charges for services to you, not billed at the time of your departure, may be charged to the credit card used to pay for your booking at the time of arrival or used to guarantee your reservation.

Rates and charges

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified and are inclusive of GST.

Rates and prices are subject to availability and can change without notice due to fluctuations in charges,

The “From” rates displayed are indicative rates only and are subject to availability and terms and conditions. For valid rates, please check availability and select your dates.

All packages and rates are subject to individual terms and conditions as specified.

Rates booked on the hotel website or over the phone are non-commissionable. Unless agreements have been made and approved by management in writing prior to arrival.

Cancellation / No Show policy

Booking must be cancelled by 2.00pm, 24 hours prior to your arrival date.

Cancellation made within 24 hours of arrival will incur a charge of one night’s accommodation which will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee your reservations.

A no-show is when you fail to check in on the night of your confirmed reservation without providing advance notice.

Cancellation and no-show penalties may vary and are subject to the terms and conditions of the rate or package booked.

Check in

Standard check-in time is 2.00pm.

Only people listed on the reservations will be able to check in to the hotel.

Charges may apply for early check in time prior to 2.00pm and are subject to availability. If an early check-in time requires the room to be kept vacant the night prior to arrival, then a pre-registration fee will apply of a full night’s accommodation for the night prior to arrival.

Guaranteed early check in must be pre-arranged prior to arrival.

Check out

Standard check out time is 11.00am.

Additional charges may apply for departure after the standard check out time and are subject to availability. Late check out must be requested and authorised by management prior to departure.

You must return the key upon check out.

Age Policy

Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian or other adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the under 18-year-old guest.

If a guest under the age of 18 years is not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian management reserves the right to immediately cancel the guest’s booking and the full booking amount will be forfeited to The Motely Hotel Richmond. The Motley Hotel Richmond will not accept any liability to the guest or any other person with respect to the booking under these circumstances.

Party Policy

Parties and large gatherings within the property or rooms are strictly prohibited. Any breaches of this policy will result in immediate eviction and termination of your booking without refund.

Third party products and services

All third-party bookings, vouchers, coupons are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the third party. The Motley Hotel Richmond is not liable or responsible for any error or amendment made by the third party provide following acceptance of any booking by them.

The Motley Hotel Richmond is not responsible for accuracy of information, statements or representations made by third parties and as such is not liable for any act or omission, default of negligence of the third-party provider.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates may be used to pay for accommodation and any costs that a guest is permitted to charge to their room account. Please refer to the terms and conditions on the gift certificate.

Photography and Video

Any activity (including photography and videography) of a commercial or promotional nature is not permitted anything within the hotel without prior written approval from hotel management.

Hotel Management reserves the right to request the immediate cessation of any activity taking place in breach of this condition. Unauthorised imagery or video must not be published on any media and must be immediately removed from the public domain upon the request of hotel management.

Liability

Any monies, valuables, goods that belong to you, brought onto the premises remain your responsibility are your sole responsibility. The Motley Hotel Richmond and its current and former employees will not be held liable for any loss or damages.
