is both fair and represents industry best practice.

The Motley Hotel and its entities collects personal information from our customers and suppliers and their personnel. This includes when you communicate with us, meet with us, purchase or pay for our products and services or provide good and services to us, interactions with us on our website. Personal information collected from you is protected from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. Any personal information transferred to others is and will remain protected. Personal information will not be transferred to overseas recipients.

* Information about staff and directors, as required in the normal course of human resource management and the operation of a business; and

* Information about current and previous Motley Hotel suppliers and clients with whom the hotel has dealings.

We will only collect your sensitive information if you have consented to us doing so – for example, as part of information collected about directors and employees for company and human resource management purposes. We may also collect limited health information, such as requirements of guests with dietary requirements or disability; or where required or permitted by law.

We use a third party service provider to manage our guest email database for marketing purposes, and we disclose guests’ contact details to that third party.

You may opt out at any time if you do not, or no longer, wish to receive marketing and promotional material. You may do this by contacting us via email and requesting you no longer wish to receive marketing or promotional material or where applicable clicking the “unsubscribe” button.

Storage & Security of your personal information

The Motley Hotel will store personal information [electronically and in paper form].

You may request access to the personal information or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time. We will allow you access unless we consider there is a sound reason under the APA or other relevant law to withhold the information. If we refuse to provide you with access or correct the personal information we hold about you, we will provide reasons for such refusal.

If you have a complaint with regards to the collection, storage, use or disclosure of your personal information, please contact us on info@themotleyhotel.com.au and a senior representative of The Motley Hotel will contact you within five (5) business deals to deal with your communication.

The hotel reserves the right to review this Privacy Policy or any part of it from time to time. Please review this policy periodically for changes.

Your continues use of our website, products or services, requesting our assistance, or the provision of further personal information to us after this Privacy Policy has been revised, constitutes as your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
